Delete Your Scavenger Account

This page lets you request deletion of your Scavenger account and the personal data tied to it — your Firebase sign-in identity and display name. You don't need the app installed to submit this request.

Submitting this form starts the request; it isn't instant. We process deletion requests manually and will confirm by email once it's done, so please include the email address associated with your Google Sign-In if you'd like confirmation.

If you're the owner of a household ("Party") with other members: Scavenger doesn't currently support transferring ownership, so deleting your account also deletes that household for everyone in it — its lists, stores, and shopping history. If you'd rather keep the household running for the people in it, ask another member to start a new household and re-invite everyone before you request deletion. If you're just a member (not the owner) of a household, leaving it has no effect on anyone else, and deleting your account only removes you.

Request account deletion

Tell us the email associated with your Google account (the one you used to sign in to Scavenger) so we can find and delete the right account.

What gets deleted

Your Firebase sign-in identity and stored display name are deleted. If you own a household, that household — its lists, stores, and shopping/hunt history — is deleted for every member, the same as using Delete Party in the app. If you're a member (not owner) of a household, you're simply removed from it and the household continues for its remaining members, the same as using Leave Party in the app.
